According to Clause 6 of Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine as of 16.07.1999 No. 996-XIV “On Accounting and Financial Reporting in Ukraine”, financial statements and consolidated financial statements by international standards are prepared on the basis of the taxonomy of financial statements according to international standards, which are published in the state language on the official website of the central body of executive power, which ensures the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of accounting and auditing.Taxonomy is a classification system that can be used to identify and structure information in order to facilitate its search and processing by the user.
Taxonomy of financial reporting is a composition of articles and indicators of financial reporting and its elements that are subject to disclosure.
The IFRS Taxonomy system lists and defines specific codes that can be used to identify information disclosed in IFRS financial statements. The IFRS taxonomy also includes a table of contents that describes the meaning of an accounting element or helps the user find the correct element. IFRS Taxonomy data is grouped accordingly, which is due to the facilitation of reporting.
XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) is an open standard for exchanging business information.
A document in the iXBRL format is a file that has the HTML extension and is opened for viewing by an Internet browser.
